TERMS OF SERVICE
By accessing or using our website https://sonderandstoneboutique.com.au and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
These Terms apply to purchases made via our online store only. Custom wedding and event bookings are subject to separate terms outlined during the consultation and quoting process.
PRICING + PAYMENT
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. International orders are shipped GST-free and prices are shown in your local currency at checkout.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
We accept credit cards, Afterpay, and other payment methods displayed at checkout.
Sonder + Stone Boutique reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice; however, all pricing is fixed once your order is confirmed.
SHIPPING + DELIVERY
Shipping availability
We ship within Australia and to select international countries (currently New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland) on eligible products only. Ceremony, reception and installation pieces are not available for international delivery.
Shipping costs
We offer free* shipping on Australian orders over $250. Additional fees may apply for remote or regional areas with less frequent courier runs; if applicable, we'll contact you before dispatch to confirm.
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and contents of your order. Larger orders may be sent across multiple parcels.
Authority to Leave
Orders are shipped with 'Authority to Leave' as default. If you prefer signature on delivery, please email us immediately after placing your order.
Dispatch timeframes
In-stock orders are usually dispatched within 4 business days for home and décor pieces, and up to 15 business days for wedding flowers, as these are made to order.
Items marked as pre-order follow the estimated dispatch date shown on the product page at the time of purchase, which replaces the standard timeframes above. Pre-order dates vary by design and can move, so please check this carefully before purchasing. Orders cannot be cancelled, and refunds are not offered, where pre-order information was not reviewed prior to checkout.
Delivery timeframes
Once dispatched, Australian delivery generally takes 2 to 10 business days for metro areas and up to 14 business days for regional and remote locations, including Western Australia.
International delivery timeframes vary by country and carrier and will be shown on your tracking link once dispatched. We recommend allowing at least 8 to 12 weeks from the dispatch date to account for production, international transit and customs processing. We are unable to guarantee delivery by a specific date for international orders.
Address limitations
We are unable to deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers unless prior arrangements are made.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (ADDITIONAL TERMS)
International orders are available on Bridal Party Essentials and Single Stems only, to the countries listed at checkout.
For orders to the United States, import duties and fees are calculated and collected at checkout. For all other countries, any customs duties, taxes or import fees are set by the local customs authority and are payable by the recipient. Sonder + Stone Boutique is not responsible for delays, fees, or refusals caused by customs processing.
Once an international order has been dispatched, liability transfers to the customer, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
TRANSIT ISSUES + PEACE OF MIND COVER
All orders are shipped using trusted courier partners. Once an item leaves our hands, Sonder + Stone Boutique is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers unless Peace of Mind Cover has been selected at checkout.
Peace of Mind Cover is available on both Australian and international orders. If added, we guarantee a refund or replacement for items damaged in transit, parcels confirmed lost by the courier, or courier delivery errors.
Without this cover, courier-related issues are handled on a case-by-case basis and compensation is not guaranteed.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS + CHANGES
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.
If you need to request a change, please get in touch as soon as possible. While we'll always do our best to assist, changes may not be possible depending on the stage your order is at or the type of item purchased.
Any updates made after an order has been placed (and prior to dispatch) are at our discretion. Where a change is possible, additional fees may apply to cover processing, materials, or administration already incurred.
RETURNS + REFUNDS
Australian orders
Change of mind returns are accepted for store credit on full-priced items, provided the return arrives back to us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unmarked, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping and should use tracked and insured postage. Store credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
International orders
Due to the nature of international shipping, international orders are final sale. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for change of mind.
Damaged or faulty items
For all orders, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos and a description of the issue. We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion. Claims raised outside this timeframe may not be accepted, so please unbox and check your order as soon as it arrives.
Exclusions
Custom, made-to-order, pre-order, sale and clearance items, limited edition or sample pieces, and any modified or customised designs are not eligible for change of mind returns.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your right to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
We make every effort to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate.
Due to variations in materials, lighting, and screen displays, slight differences in colour or finish may occur and are not considered faults.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including text, imagery, branding, graphics, and designs, is the intellectual property of Sonder + Stone Boutique.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our express written permission.
PERSONAL USE, RESALE + COMMERCIAL HIRE
Our products are sold exclusively for personal use by the purchasing customer. They are not intended or licensed for commercial hire, commercial resale, or any third-party business use. This includes hiring or renting arrangements to others for a fee, whether through a business, an online marketplace, social media, or privately.
We love seeing our flowers kept, gifted or sold on to another couple after your event. If you choose to sell your pieces, any listing must clearly state that the items are second hand and that the sale is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sonder + Stone Boutique. You may refer to Sonder + Stone Boutique only to describe the origin of the pieces, and may not use our product imagery, branding or copy in your listing.
Any business wishing to use our products in a commercial capacity must obtain written approval and a commercial-use licence from us. Unauthorised commercial use, reproduction, or promotion of our designs or imagery is strictly prohibited. Businesses must not represent Sonder + Stone designs as their own work or imply authorship, partnership, or endorsement.
Breach of this section may result in refusal of future orders and in listings being reported to the relevant platform.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, Sonder + Stone Boutique is not liable for:
- Delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party shipping services
- Customs delays, fees, or import refusals for international orders
- Misuse or improper handling of products after delivery
- Events beyond our control, including weather events, postal strikes, or force majeure
Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our site is limited to the amount paid for the product.
PRIVACY
We're committed to protecting your privacy.
Any personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
By using our site, you agree that any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes take effect immediately once published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
