ERMS OF SERVICE
By accessing or using our website https://sonderandstoneboutique.com.au and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
These Terms apply to purchases made via our online store only. Custom wedding and event bookings are subject to separate terms outlined during the consultation and quoting process.
PRICING + PAYMENT
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
We accept credit cards, Afterpay, and other payment methods displayed at checkout.
Sonder + Stone Boutique reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice; however, all pricing is fixed once your order is confirmed.
SHIPPING + DELIVERY
Shipping availability
We offer shipping within Australia and to a select list of international countries on eligible products only. Due to shipping constraints, larger ceremony and installation pieces are not available for international delivery.
Shipping costs
We offer free* shipping on Australian orders over $100. Additional fees may apply for remote or regional areas; if applicable, we’ll contact you before dispatch.
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and contents of your order. Shipping may increase for larger orders requiring multiple parcels.
Authority to Leave
Orders are shipped with ‘Authority to Leave’ as default. If you prefer signature on delivery, please email us immediately after placing your order.
Delivery timeframes
Orders are usually dispatched within 4 business days (up to 15 business days for wedding flowers).
Australian delivery generally takes 2–14 business days depending on your location, with longer timeframes for remote areas or Western Australia.
International delivery timeframes vary by country and carrier. Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and do not include customs processing delays.
Address limitations
We are unable to deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers unless prior arrangements are made.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (ADDITIONAL TERMS)
International orders are available on bouquets and buttonholes only, to select countries listed at checkout.
Depending on order size, international orders may be shipped across multiple parcels.
Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are determined by local customs authorities. Sonder + Stone Boutique is not responsible for delays, fees, or refusals caused by customs processing.
Once an international order has been dispatched, liability transfers to the customer, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
TRANSIT ISSUES + OPTIONAL COVERAGE
All orders are shipped using trusted courier partners.
Once an item leaves our hands, Sonder + Stone Boutique is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers unless Peace of Mind Cover has been selected at checkout (Australia only).
Peace of Mind Cover guarantees a refund or replacement if delivery issues occur, including loss or damage confirmed by the courier.
Without this cover, courier-related issues are handled on a case-by-case basis and compensation is not guaranteed.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS + CHANGES
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.
If you need to request a change, please get in touch as soon as possible. While we’ll always do our best to assist, changes may not be possible depending on the stage your order is at or the type of item purchased.
Any updates made after an order has been placed (and prior to dispatch) are at our discretion. Where a change is possible, additional fees may apply to cover processing, materials, or administration already incurred.
RETURNS + REFUNDS
Australian orders
Change of mind returns are accepted within 30 days for full-priced items. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping and should use tracked and insured postage.
International orders
Due to the nature of international shipping, returns or exchanges are not accepted for international orders for change of mind.
If an international order arrives damaged, customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and items so we can assess the issue.
Damaged or faulty items
For Australian orders, please notify us within 7 days of receipt with photos and a description of the issue. We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Exclusions
Custom, made-to-order, pre-order, and sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your right to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
We make every effort to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate.
Due to variations in materials, lighting, and screen displays, slight differences in colour or finish may occur and are not considered faults.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website — including text, imagery, branding, graphics, and designs — is the intellectual property of Sonder + Stone Boutique.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our express written permission.
COMMERCIAL USE + LICENSING
Our products are not intended or licensed for commercial hire, commercial resale, or any third-party business use. Products are sold exclusively for personal use by the purchasing couple.
Any business wishing to use our products in a commercial capacity must obtain written approval and a commercial-use licence. Unauthorised commercial use, reproduction, or promotion of our designs or imagery is strictly prohibited.
Clients may resell physical arrangements after their event; however, businesses must not advertise or represent Sonder + Stone designs as their own work or imply authorship, partnership, or endorsement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, Sonder + Stone Boutique is not liable for:

Delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party shipping services

Misuse or improper handling of products after delivery

Events beyond our control, including weather events, postal strikes, or force majeure
Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our site is limited to the amount paid for the product.
PRIVACY

Any personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
By using our site, you agree that any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes take effect immediately once published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
